Willstone Homes CEO, EDIJIO KINYANJUI, on the spot for preying on a 19-year-old girl after a drinking spree - He did it at the back of his Lexus at Kettle House’s parking lot

Friday, September 18, 2026 - Top real estate executive and CEO of Willstone Homes, Edijio Kinyanjui Gitau, has been accused of preying on a 19-year-old girl during a night out at Kettle House, a high-end entertainment joint.

The incident took place on the night of August 22, 2026, at the parking yard of Kettle House Club along Kiambu Road, where Kinyanjui had taken the victim alongside her two aunts for drinks.

The girl, who resides in America, was on vacation and had visited her grandmother, who is involved in several housing projects undertaken by Kinyanjui’s firm.

The teenager told police that she met Kinyanjui through her grandmother, who was engaging him as a real estate developer.

Later, Kinyanjui invited her and her two aunts to Kettle House for drinks.

He picked them up at their Kitisuru residence and drove them to the club.

Inside, she became heavily intoxicated as they drank and socialized.

She said that while her aunts were in the washroom, Kinyanjui started touching her.

She claims he later escorted her towards what she believed was the washroom but instead took her outside to his vehicle.

According to her statement, she entered the back of his Lexus and Kinyanjui joined her.

She claims he took advantage of her drunken state, pulled down her trousers, and did the unthinkable to her.

“I kept on telling him why he was doing the act to me, and I also tried to stop him,” she said in her statement.

She further alleged that she was frightened because he was carrying a gun.

The girl’s aunts became concerned when she and Kinyanjui took a long time to return to the club.

They went to the parking lot and found Kinyanjui looking visibly confused.

The girl then informed them of what had transpired.

When confronted, Kinyanjui, who had paid a bill of KSh 80,000 for the drinks and meals, denied the allegations.

He drove out of the club and left another bill of KSh 32,000.

The complainant was taken to hospital, where she underwent a medical examination following the incident.

Kinyanjui was arrested on September 1 after the matter was reported to the police and released three days later.

The matter is now before the court.
