A LADY friend reveals KCB Bank Head of Data Protection Unit, ROSEMARY KIMWATU, took her own life because of marital struggles - Her husband had even kicked her out of their matrimonial home

Monday, August 24, 2026 - Fresh details have emerged surrounding the sudden demise of KCB Bank Head of Data Protection, Rosemary Kimwatu, who reportedly took her own life after silently battling depression.

While it was initially reported that work-related stress contributed to her death, a close friend has revealed that marital struggles involving her husband, Kevin, contributed to her depression.

According to the friend, identified as Ndorobo Ng’ania on Facebook, Rosemary was in an abusive marriage.

Before her death, her husband had kicked her out of their matrimonial home, forcing her to rent a house elsewhere.

“If Chemu was truly happy and safe in her matrimonial home, why did she leave that home for a rented house while remaining committed to her career at KCB Group?

"We must stop looking for ways to sanitize the situation on social media.

"Kevin should be advised not to use social media to rewrite a painful reality or clean up what should instead be confronted honestly,” the friend wrote.

“A woman should never have to reach the edge before her pain is taken seriously.

"Let us create homes where women are safe, respected, heard and protected.

"We stand with every woman who is silently fighting for her safety and dignity.

"Let us speak up, support one another, and refuse to normalize abuse,” she added.

Interestingly, Kevin and his late wife often appeared like the perfect couple on social media, regularly portraying a happy marriage.

However, behind the scenes, their marriage was marred by endless disputes.
