Wednesday, June 3, 2026 - A little-known woman from
Meru is trending online after she was captured on camera entertaining Government
officials and politicians with crazy dance moves during the recently concluded
Madaraka Day celebrations.
The woman, who appears to be in her 50s, moved close to the
podium as an upcoming Meru artist performed and entertained the crowd with her
dramatic dance moves, leaving those in attendance in stitches.
The video has since gone viral on social media, attracting
mixed reactions from netizens.
Some social media users claimed the woman was hoping to
receive cash handouts from the politicians and officials present at the event,
noting that tough economic times are forcing many Kenyans to survive by all
means possible.
Others urged young people to support their parents
financially to prevent them from finding themselves in such embarrassing
situations.
