Thursday, October 2, 2025 - Shock and grief have gripped Kisumu after a man identified as Silas Onyango alias Woud Sammy was brutally murdered in what police believe to be a well-planned attack.
According to preliminary reports, Onyango was driving home
on the evening of Wednesday,
October 1st, when he was suddenly ambushed by
unknown assailants.
The attackers reportedly dragged him out of his vehicle before
stabbing him a staggering 15
times.
He died on the spot as the killers vanished into the night,
leaving behind a scene of horror.
Detectives have since launched investigations to unravel the
motive behind the gruesome murder and to track down the culprits.
Meanwhile, Onyango’s family and friends have taken to social
media to mourn his death and demand swift justice, describing him as a jovial
and hardworking man whose life was cut short in a cruel and violent manner.
Police are urging anyone with information that could aid in the arrest of the suspects to come forward.
