Thursday, October 2, 2025 - Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has once again pulled a surprise PR move, this time opening the gates of his lavish Wamunyoro residence to children from his neighbourhood.
In photos shared online, Gachagua is seen mingling warmly
with the kids, giving them a rare glimpse into his palatial home.
The kids were treated to snacks and drinks, with some posing
for pictures alongside the former DP.
While supporters praised the gesture as a show of humility
and community spirit, critics were quick to dismiss it as a desperate
attempt at image repair, especially coming hot on the heels of
reports linking him to unpaid debts and controversial property dealings.
Whether genuine or calculated, one thing is clear: Gachagua
knows how to pull PR stunts.
