Tuesday, June 10, 2025 - Officers from the National Police Service (NPS) conducted a successful anti-narcotics operation in the Kasarani area of Nairobi, leading to the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal substances.
During the operation, officers confiscated, 50kg of cannabis sativa (bhang), 30
hash-infused cookies, and 810 rolls of bhang.
The
suspects are currently in police custody and are expected to be arraigned in
court.
The
seized narcotics have been secured as exhibits at the same facility.
In a
statement, the National Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to combating
drug trafficking and abuse, emphasizing the importance of intelligence-led operations and
ongoing public collaboration in
dismantling narcotics networks.
