Monday, February 3, 2025 - Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, never one to shy away from controversy, found himself in an awkward moment over the weekend when rowdy youths heckled him during a fundraiser in Moi’s Bridge.
The vocal lawmaker, a close ally of President William Ruto
and well-known for his deep pockets, had joined Rift Valley leaders to raise
over Ksh 10 million for victims of a fire tragedy.
However, just as he took the mic, some youths in the crowd
started heckling him.
And in true Sudi fashion, he didn’t take it lightly.
Losing his cool, the fiery MP lashed out at the hecklers,
reminding them that he is a wealthy man who could easily silence the entire
gathering with a cool Ksh 2,000 per person.
“Mimi sio maskini. Niko na pesa mingi sana. Naweza walipa
nyinyi wote hapa elfu mbili mbili. Mimi sio mtu wa kutishwa. Wacheni ujinga!” he said.
