2026 - Residents of Boito Ward in Chemelet Village are mourning the tragic
death of Milcah, a woman who was brutally murdered by her husband following a
domestic dispute.
According to reports circulating on social media, the
suspect attacked Milcah and chopped her neck in a horrific incident that has
shocked the local community.
The deceased was laid to rest yesterday amid calls for
justice and an end to rising cases of gender-based violence.
The tragic incident has once again sparked outrage online, with many Kenyans condemning the increasing cases of femicide and domestic violence across the country.
A close friend of the deceased lady has urged men to seek peaceful ways of resolving disagreements instead of resorting to violence.
“Men, stop killing ladies. Even when you have differences, try to solve issues in a peaceful and respectful manner. Violence is never the solution,” she shared online following Milcah’s death.
