Monday, August 24, 2026 - A young lady identified as Essie Ohuru has narrated how a man sent her fare, expecting to meet up for a date, only for her to fail to turn up.
The man reportedly sent her Ksh 1,000 via M-Pesa and then booked an Airbnb, where they were expected to meet.
However, Essie did not show up, leaving the man frustrated
after spending money on the arrangements.
Clearly irritated, the man confronted her through a series
of text messages, demanding that she return the money he had sent her.
He also complained that he had already spent Ksh 3,500 to
book the Airbnb, only for her to fail to turn up for the planned date.
From the messages shared online, the man appears distressed
and angry.
Some social media users expressed concern over the tone of
his messages, with some warning Essie to exercise caution and return the fare.
