Thursday, August 6, 2026 - A single mother has sparked debate on social media after she was captured on camera sharing a light-hearted moment with her young daughter, only for the conversation to take an unexpected turn.

In the viral video, the mother is heard asking her daughter to name her favourite drink.

To her surprise, the little girl, who appears to be about 10 years old, confidently responds that her favourite drink is Hennessy.

“Which is your favourite drink?” the Gen-Z mother asks.

“Hennessy,” the girl replies.

When her mother asks why, the child says she likes it because it "tastes better."

The clip has generated reactions online, with many social media users criticizing the young mother over what they described as poor parenting

Some claimed the video suggests the child may have been introduced to alcohol at a very young age, while others urged parents to be more careful about the environment children are exposed to.
