Man on the run after being caught having MECHI with a form three student - Shame on you NELSON APWOYO (PHOTOs)

Saturday, August 22, 2026 - Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect who was reportedly caught having mechi with a Form Three student.

The suspect, identified as Nelson Kenneth Apwoyo, is alleged to be a notorious goon involved in criminal activities in Busia.

He is also alleged to be associated with Busia County Governor Paul Otuoma, with claims that he is used to silence the governor’s critics.

A blogger alleged that Kenneth was sent by the governor to vandalize his property after he criticized Otuoma’s leadership.

Police are currently pursuing the suspect as investigations into the incident continue.
