Friday, August 7, 2026 - A baby mama to Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka has sparked reactions on social media after saying she can never settle down with a man who already has children.

In a video posted on her social media pages, Onyonka’s baby mama, Shaz, said that although she is a single mother, when it comes to committed relationships, she prefers a man who has no children.

“As a single mother, I cannot date a man who has kids. I am a mother myself, and I cannot raise another woman’s children,” she said.

She went on to mock baby daddies, claiming that they have been "overused."

“Why would I go for a used man?” she was heard saying in the video.

Her remarks sparked mixed reactions, with social media users expressing different opinions.

“Single mothers now have standards. Who allowed this to happen?” one social media user posed.

“Simps never understand this. I once met a single mom and asked her if she could settle down with a single father who has kids. 

"She was quick to say, 'Hell no.' I keep telling simps that women are in business, ”another user added.
