Embu Senatorial candidate WALLACE NJIRU accused of impregnating a 21-year-old lady and dumping her - Had promised to marry her but disappeared after she gave birth

Wednesday, July 29, 2026 - Embu Senatorial aspirant Wallace Njiru has been publicly accused of impregnating a 21-year-old lady, promising to marry her, and later abandoning her.

In a series of social media posts, the woman claimed she was present during the young mother's labor nine years ago. 

She alleged that Njiru was actively involved at the time before later disappearing from their lives.

According to her, the politician sent a copy of his national ID and requested that the newborn be given his name.

She further claimed that the birth notification was registered under his name after he acknowledged responsibility for the child.

Recalling the events, she wrote that she was in the labor room at around 4:00 a.m., helping the young mother through childbirth while Njiru communicated with them.

“Where do men get audacity from? Mhesh, it's either we do this the civil way or I come for you today, ”she wrote.

The woman questioned Njiru's suitability to seek public office, accusing him of neglecting parental responsibilities despite promising to marry the then 21-year-old woman and raise their child.

“How will you take care of the people of Embu when you can't provide for a baby girl that you vowed to raise and take care of, only for you to disappear?” she posed.
