Tuesday, June 2, 2026 - A church in Ukambani has
sparked reactions online after a video emerged showing members of the praise
and worship team pulling energetic and unconventional dance moves during a
service.
In the clip, the worshippers are seen dancing
enthusiastically to fast-paced Kamba music, creating an atmosphere that many
social media users compared to a nightclub scene.
A section of social media users questioned whether the dance
styles were appropriate for a church setting.
“Hii ni kanisa ama club?” one social media user
jokingly commented after watching the video.
Others, however, defended the worshippers, saying there is
no specific formula for praising God as long as the intention is genuine.
