2026 - A woman has sparked heated debate on social media after urging
married men to take more wives, arguing that it could save them from suffering
in old age.
In a viral Facebook post, Aisha Lawal claimed that some men
avoid marrying multiple women because they do not want to hurt their wives'
feelings.
She further alleged that some married women secretly hold
grudges over their husbands' past mistakes and are already planning to
"settle scores" later in life.
“Some men will suffer in old age not because they are bad
husbands or fathers, but because the only wife they married has already planned
how she is going to deal with him mercilessly for his past mistakes.”
“Yet they have refused to marry more wives so they won’t hurt her,” she wrote.
