27, 2026 - Former NTV host, Grace
Ekirapa, has opened up about the painful experience she went
through after her highly publicized marriage to actor Pascal Tokodi collapsed.
In a video shared on social media, Grace revealed that she
previously served in her church, whose name she did not disclose, and was once
warmly embraced by fellow congregants who were always eager to interact with
her.
However, she claimed that everything changed once news of
her failed marriage became public.
According to Grace, some church members began avoiding her,
leaving her feeling isolated and judged.
She admitted that the experience deeply hurt her, especially
because the church had been the one place she turned to for comfort and healing
while navigating the divorce.
Grace and Pascal tied the knot in a lavish wedding in 2020,
but their marriage later fell apart amid claims that Pascal was unable to
provide the lifestyle Grace desired.
Despite the breakup, the two have maintained a peaceful
co-parenting relationship while raising their daughter, AJ.
Her revelations have since sparked mixed reactions online.
While some netizens sympathized with her ordeal, others
argued that she should have expected criticism after breaking vows made before
God and the church.
As one netizen put it:
“Imagine involving the church and the pastor to help you get
married, exchange vows, and make a covenant with God, then later go against
those vows.”
“Do you expect the church to continue supporting you?”
