Thursday, March 19,
2026 - Suba North Member of Parliament, Millie Odhiambo, has expressed deep
sorrow following the sudden death of her lecturer, Dr. Yugi.
The legislator revealed that she had been eagerly
anticipating his Organisational Development class on Thursday, March 19th,
2026, only to be met with the devastating news of his passing.
Odhiambo, who returned to school last year, described Dr.
Yugi’s course as one of her favorites, praising the knowledge and friendships
she has gained since resuming her studies.
“I went back to school last year.”
“I have got to meet new people and forge new friendships.”
“I have enjoyed acquiring new knowledge.”
“One of my best classes is Organisational Development by Dr
Yugi,” Millie said on Facebook.
Reflecting on the loss, she noted the brevity of life and
shared how she had struggled to join the class last week while travelling
abroad.
“I really struggled to participate even for the shortest
time last week, even though I was travelling, but I did not succeed.”
“Was looking forward to the class today, but instead, the
news is of the passing on of the lecturer.”
“Indeed, life at best is very brief. This is sad,” she
added.
