2026 - A Kenyan man identified as Charles Muriithi
has raised an alarm with shocking claims that his pregnant wife lost one of her
kidneys at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, accusing “rogue
doctors” of medical malpractice and organ theft.
Muriithi says the family made the discovery after his wife
began experiencing persistent health complications following a medical
procedure at the facility.
According to his account, subsequent medical examinations
revealed that one of her kidneys was missing.
He further claims that he filed a formal complaint with the Kenya
Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) seeking
accountability and investigation into the matter, but alleges that no
meaningful action has been taken so far.
