Friday, October 3, 2025 - ODM leader, Raila Odinga, is beaming with pride after his sister, Balozi Akinyi Walkowa Odinga, graduated with a Doctorate degree from the Durban University of Technology in South Africa.
Raila joined his wife Mama Ida in congratulating her,

The graduation has sparked excitement online, with Kenyans
showering her with praise for her academic achievement while also drawing
attention to her controversial past connection to President William Ruto, with
whom she reportedly sired a child.

Akinyi serves as the Deputy Head of Mission in Los Angeles, USA.
