Sunday, September 7, 2025 - Drama is unfolding in Kakamega politics after it emerged that Cooperatives Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya has allegedly snatched a married woman from her husband.
The woman at the center of the storm has been identified as Elsie Muhanda, Kakamega Woman Representative, who also holds a senior role in Oparanya’s office.
According to sources, Elsie abandoned her matrimonial home and secretly moved in with the CS shortly after his Cabinet appointment.
Her estranged husband has accused Oparanya of exploiting his powerful position to wreck their marriage.
Senator Boni Khalwale has since gone public with these claims, openly calling out Oparanya during a recent political function.
