Monday, July 21, 2025 - A chaotic scene unfolded in Zimmerman Estate, Nairobi, after a Subaru driver was accosted by boda boda riders and nearly lynched.
According to eyewitnesses, the chaos erupted after the
driver allegedly knocked down a boda boda rider at a busy intersection
near the estate's main stage.
The impact left the rider with visible injuries, prompting
fellow riders in the area to confront the driver in retaliation.
A video shows the irate riders surrounding the Subaru,
shouting and pelting it with stones and sticks.
The car's windows were shattered, side mirrors ripped off,
and its body badly dented during the violent confrontation.
The driver, clearly shaken, remained inside the car
and refused to come out, fearing for his life.
He later sped off as the riders pelted his car with stones.
