Drama as controversial city lawyer, BRIAN MWENDA, chases after two motorbike-riding thugs who snatched a phone from a lady along Thika Road (VIDEO)

Sunday, August 23, 2026 - A dramatic incident unfolded along the busy Thika Superhighway after controversial city lawyer Brian Mwenda chased after two motorbike-riding suspects who robbed a lady of her phone.

Mwenda was driving on the highway when he spotted the suspects snatch the phone from the victim near Muthaiga.

He recorded a video while attempting to chase after the suspects, but they unfortunately managed to speed off.

He has since offered a cash reward of Ksh50,000 to anyone with information that may lead to the suspects’ arrest.

“These two criminals just stole a phone from a lady along Thika Road near Muthaiga. We have tried to follow them, but they have escaped. 

"If anyone has any information about these thugs, please reach out to me. 

"I’ll pay 50,000 for any information that leads to their arrest,” he posted.
