“My Mum Died Pleading with Me to Settle Down' - KHALIF KAIRO makes emotional confession about love, reveals the kind of woman he wants

Friday, July 03, 2026 - Disgraced Kenyan car dealer, Khalif Kairo, has opened up about why many of his relationships have failed, admitting that marriage has never been a priority for him.

In a candid post on his X account, Kairo, who was once known for dating some of Nairobi's finest baddies, confessed that despite constant pressure from friends and family to settle down, his focus has always been on work and pursuing his long-term ambitions.

"Getting a woman for me is a non-priority. In fact, I went celibate a long time ago," he revealed.

Kairo disclosed that not even his late mother's heartfelt plea for him to start a family was enough to change his mind.

"My mum actually died pleading with me to settle down and start a family, but my mind has always been elsewhere," he shared.

Reflecting on his past relationships, Kairo admitted that his workaholic lifestyle has cost him several meaningful connections.

"I have fumbled so many good girls in my lifetime because I am simply terrible at running relationships," he wrote, explaining that unexpected business opportunities often take precedence over his personal life.

"We will plan a date on Sunday, and a flying request will come, na mimi nitakuacha niende flight."

He added that his demanding schedule regularly keeps him working until the early hours of the morning.

"I will go to bed at 3 a.m after spending the whole evening on my phone working," he said.

However, Kairo suggested that he has not completely given up on finding love, revealing the kind of woman he hopes to meet.

"A nice, understanding baddie who will take me for who I am - a struggling founder with insane dreams, heavy burdens and a tendency to ghost for a day while building things," he wrote.
