Drama erupts at the burial of Kisii gospel singer LIZ KERUBO after her husband tried to introduce his second wife and kids - Late singer’s children grabbed the microphone and chased them away (VIDEO)

Friday, July 31, 2026 - Mourners witnessed a dramatic scene during the burial of the late Kisii gospel singer Liz Kerubo after her husband attempted to introduce his second wife and children, only to face resistance from the late singer's children.

In a video circulating online, Kerubo's husband is seen inviting his second wife and children to move forward so they could be introduced to the mourners.

Moments later, one of the late singer's grown-up sons grabbed the microphone from his father, abruptly cutting short his speech.

Other children then joined in and chased away the second wife and her children as stunned mourners watched the drama unfold.

Kerubo's husband was forced to step aside as the situation escalated.

The incident has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users criticizing the late singer's children for disrespecting their father.

“Why do children assume they have control over their parents' lives? Your parents are free to have as many partners as they deem necessary,” one social media user wrote.

“After all is said and done, he still remains their father, and the disrespect the young man showed his dad is not right. No matter the situation, never challenge your father or mother,” another user added.
