Tuesday, May 12, 2026 - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was among several African Heads of State who attended the Africa Forward Summit held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.
El-Sisi arrived under tight security in a customized armored
Mercedes-Benz surrounded by his security team and was received by Prime Cabinet
Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
At one point, Mudavadi’s bodyguard appeared to attempt
touching the Egyptian President’s vehicle, prompting El-Sisi’s alert security
detail to quickly warn him off.
The Africa Forward Summit 2026 in Nairobi was co-hosted by
Kenyan President William Ruto and
French President Emmanuel Macron.
