Wednesday, April 1, 2026 - A young Kenyan entrepreneur has shared a heartbreaking video capturing the moment hired goons stormed his business premises in Ruaka and destroyed property due to business rivalry.
Taking to social media, the entrepreneur described the
incident as one of the most painful days of his life.
“A day in my life that I once felt helpless, seeing goons
destroy a part of me that I gave my all as a young business person trying to
build a better future for myself and every other family that depended on this
business,” he said.
He noted that the venture was not only a personal dream but
also a source of livelihood.
The entrepreneur said the attack was fueled by competitive
forces, including a landlord who was jealous of the success brought by the
business.
He claimed the business had faced repeated unlawful attacks
and lamented that despite reporting the incident to the police, the masterminds
are still walking freely.
“Legal measures have been undertaken, but it really hurts to
see the masterminds still walking freely in society, just because the systems
work for those who manipulate them,” he lamented.
