2026 - The search for Branson Oduor, a 27‑year‑old Kenyan based in
Baltimore, Maryland, has ended in heartbreak after his lifeless body was found
ten days after being reported missing.
Oduor’s remains were discovered on Tuesday, April 14th,
at around 8:10 a.m at Baltimore’s Inner Harbour along the 500 block of E. Pratt
Street.
His family, who had clung to hope of finding him alive, was
devastated by the grim outcome.
The young man was last seen leaving a bar in Fells Point at
about 2 a.m. on April 4.
CCTV footage>>> later captured him walking along Thames Street
at 4 a.m. That same day, his phone went off, prompting concern from his mother,
who filed a missing person’s report.
Authorities launched a search that drew in family, friends
and neighbours, who distributed flyers and combed the city.
Investigators later found his electric bicycle, raising
fears he may have ended up in the harbour.
Divers were deployed, leading to the tragic discovery.
Preliminary reports suggest the incident is being treated as
an accident, with no immediate signs of foul play.
Investigations are ongoing to determine how Oduor ended up
in the water.
