Wednesday, April 22, 2026 - A group of masked individuals has left Kenyans guessing after staging a press conference to unveil a new political outfit dubbed the People’s Renaissance Movement.
Without introductions, the speakers championed the movement
under the slogan “Mabadiliko ni sasa” (Change is now).
Speculation quickly spread online, with some Kenyans
suggesting the party could be linked to the ODM faction allied to the Linda
Mwananchi group, led by Senator Edwin Sifuna, Babu Owino and Caroli Omondi.
Others believe the Government may be rushing to register a
party with similar branding to Linda Mwananchi, in a bid to counter its growing
popularity.
The secrecy and masked presentation have only fueled curiosity, leaving many eager to see who is truly behind the new movement.
