Saturday, March 28, 2026 - A dramatic scene unfolded after a group of goons attempted to disrupt a public meeting organized by nominated Senator Karen Nyamu.
In a video circulating online, Nyamu is seen addressing
members of the public when chaos erupts as security personnel move in to
contain the rowdy group trying to access the podium.
The commotion forced the Senator to cut short her speech as
tensions rose at the venue.
Addressing the situation, Nyamu fired back at the group,
boldly stating: “Yule amewatuma mwambie mmepata mwanamke wazimu,” as she
confronted the disruption head-on.
She later alleged that the rowdy youths had been sent by her
political detractors in an attempt to sabotage the meeting.
