Media Personality KAMENE GORO marks 34th birthday with emotional post on life and gratitude - “It Could Have Been the Year I Wasn’t Going to See”

Tuesday, March 24, 2026 - Kenyan media personality, Kamene Goro, has celebrated her 34th birthday with a heartfelt reflection about life, family and gratitude.

The outspoken former Kiss 100 presenter, took to Instagram to share lessons from what she described as a year of unexpected challenges and transformation.

“To think it could have been the year I wasn’t going to see, nothing could have prepared me for this year, all that has happened was far from my plan,” she wrote.

Kamene, who has built a decade-long career across NRG Radio and Kiss 100, revealed that the past year taught her the true meaning of gratitude and family.

“The Year 34 has taught me Gratitude… it’s taught me Family and how they really are all we have between us and God and my friends, the few I now have are my family,” she shared.

She reflected on the emotional rollercoaster of experiencing both pain and love, noting that she has learned she does not always have to be “the strong one.”

Her post also touched on the fragility of life, describing it as “scary” and unpredictable.

“It’s taught me how fragile life is, and how scary it can be, but the most important lesson I’ve learned as I turn 34 is To Be Still and Know That HE IS GOD,” she concluded.

Kamene’s candid message revealed a softer, more spiritual side to the outspoken media personality.
