Friday, February 6, 2026 - Uganda Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing into the suspected aggravated robbery and murder of renowned TikToker, Diana Namulinde, popularly known as Richwife.
According to police, the social media personality is
believed to have been strangled to death inside her apartment in what
detectives are treating as both robbery and homicide.
Authorities revealed that a security guard and a cleaner
attached to the premises have been arrested after they were allegedly found in
possession of items suspected to have been stolen from the deceased.
Some of the recovered property was later identified as
belonging to Namulinde.
However, preliminary information indicates that an
unidentified man reportedly gained easy access to her residence after informing
the security guard that he had come to surprise her.
Investigators noted that the door showed no signs of forced
entry.
Sources further claim that the suspect may have been known
to the victim.
Witnesses who viewed the body reported visible injuries,
including bruises and broken nails, suggesting a struggle before her death.
Police say investigations are ongoing to establish the exact
circumstances surrounding the killing and to identify all those involved.
Namulinde, who was known for her flashy lifestyle and large
following on TikTok, leaves behind shocked fans and friends as authorities work
to uncover the truth behind her tragic death.
