Wednesday, January 14, 2026 - A tuk-tuk driver in Mombasa has captured footage highlighting the harsh economic realities facing many Kenyans across the country.
In the video recorded along a busy street at night, several
women are seen parading themselves in the area in search of men willing to pay
for brief casual encounters.
The driver is heard negotiating with one of the women,
during which he takes her phone number and promises to contact her later.
The footage sheds light on how the biting cost of living is
pushing some individuals to seek alternative means of survival.
