OSCAR SUDI mocks Keiyo South MP, GIDEON KIMAIYO, alias SONKO: “If you don’t marry by the end of this term, we’ll get you a wife, even if it’s a single mother of three!”

Wednesday, January 14, 2026 - Kapseret MP, Oscar Kipchumba Sudi, has publicly mocked Keiyo South MP, Gideon Kimaiyo, popularly known as Sonko, poking fun at his bachelor status during a public function.

Speaking in a light-hearted manner, Sudi challenged Kimaiyo to settle down, warning that fellow lawmakers will step in if he fails to marry before the end of the current parliamentary term.

"If you don’t marry by the end of this term, we will get you a wife - even if it is a single mother with three children," Sudi quipped, drawing laughter from the crowd.

Sudi questioned why the 37-year-old MP, despite being wealthy and holding a powerful political position, has been unable to find a wife.

He further jokingly wondered whether Kimaiyo might be afraid to approach women.
