Monday, November 24, 2025 - Residents of Sotik, Bomet County, were left stunned after a man killed his cousin and later posted on Facebook that the victim was missing, only for it to emerge that he was the one responsible for the crime.
The suspect is said to have dumped his cousin’s body in a
nearby dam.
In a bizarre turn of events, he later led both police
officers and members of the public to the location of the body.
Authorities confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody at Sotik Police Station, and investigations are ongoing to establish the motive behind the shocking act.
