19, 2025 - Police officers from Lamu Police Station, acting on a tip-off
from members of the public, carried out a successful raid on a house in the
Wiyoni area on 18th November 2025.
During the operation, officers arrested four suspects and
recovered an assortment of crude weapons, including pangas, spears and metal
rods.
Authorities also seized a substantial quantity of cannabis
sativa found on the premises.
The suspects were escorted to the station, where they are
being held in custody pending processing and arraignment in court.
In a statement, the National Police Service reaffirmed its
commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety and security of all
residents.
