Wednesday, September 17, 2025 - Photos exposing the dilapidated state of Kipsamoite Police Post in Nandi County have surfaced online, sparking outrage.
The facility, which is meant to serve the community and
safeguard security, is in a sorry condition-roofing sheets are rusty, walls are
crumbling, and officers are forced to operate in an environment that looks more
like an abandoned structure than a Government installation.
The shocking images have ignited anger among Kenyans, who
are questioning the Government’s priorities, especially as President William
Ruto continues to spend millions on lavish projects, high-end
vehicles, and luxury renovations for state residences.
Critics argue that while billions are allocated for the
security sector, little trickles down to grassroots police posts where officers
risk their lives daily.
