Wednesday, September 10, 2025 - A video has emerged online showing female teachers at St Peter’s Mumias Boys High School entertaining students with dance moves that have since sparked mixed reactions.
In the viral footage taken during the Cultural Day, the
teachers are seen dressed in tight outfits while energetically shaking it
to the max, as the boys cheer wildly in the background.
While some netizens have defended the teachers, calling it a
harmless morale-booster and proof that learning institutions can embrace fun,
others criticized the act, saying it was inappropriate in a
boys-only school and risks eroding discipline.
Saboti Member of Parliament, Caleb Amisi, was among those
who reacted to the video.
Taking to his X account, he wrote, ‘And the boys were happy,
but was our culture happy too?’
