10, 2025 - Radio personality Alex Mwakideu has weighed in on the growing
buzz surrounding content creator Kelvin Kinuthia’s plan to undergo a uterus
transplant.
Speaking on his morning show on Wednesday, September 10th,
2025, Mwakideu said Kinuthia has now “gone too far,” sparking fresh debate on
identity and public perception.
Mwakideu reflected on Kinuthia’s rise to fame, noting that
many men chose silence when Kinuthia first began wearing women’s clothing.
“Ameanza na nguo za wanawake, wakawa wamenyamaza,” he
said.
“But now, even the most tolerant are asking - has any man
ever done this?”
Kinuthia, known for challenging gender norms and sharing his
life openly online, shocked fans on September 8th with an Instagram
post announcing his intention to undergo a uterus transplant (UTX).
The rare and experimental procedure involves transplanting a
healthy uterus from a donor into a recipient, typically to enable pregnancy in
women with uterine factor infertility.
“Life is so private; no one knows I’m getting a UTX surgery
soon,” Kinuthia wrote.
While Kinuthia’s boldness has earned him admiration and criticism alike, this latest move has stirred intense reactions.
