2025 - Tears flowed freely as family, friends, and villagers gathered to
bid farewell to Kibet,
the young man who was brutally killed after being accused of having an affair
with someone’s wife.
The emotional burial took place in his rural home, where
mourners struggled to come to terms with the tragic and painful circumstances
surrounding his death.
Many described Kibet as a humble, hardworking man whose life
was cut short in his prime.
The young man, who was raised by his grandparents after
being orphaned at a young age, leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter, who now
faces life without a father.
The heartbreaking sight of the little girl at the burial
moved mourners to tears.
Kibet was lured to Kisumu, where he was reportedly poisoned for having an affair with another man’s wife.
