Friday, March 7, 2025 - Nairobi Senator and ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna, found himself in an awkward position during the signing of the power-sharing deal between Raila Odinga and President William Ruto at KICC.
Despite previously vowing that ODM would never align with
Ruto’s UDA, Sifuna was tasked with reading the coalition agreement, and his
body language spoke volumes.
A fierce critic of Ruto, Sifuna has repeatedly dismissed his
chances of re-election in 2027, even with Raila’s backing.
